Opening of Talk Dorky To Me!

Hello readers and welcome to Talk Dorky To Me! Just a quick post as it's 10:55 PM and I've had a busy day today.... okay, that's a lie, I've totally just been doing Thieves Guild jobs on Skyrim with my Argonian character (she's called Hides-In-Shade, and she's ferocious with a dagger :P). Anyway, I digress xD This blog is basically for anybody who likes sci-fi, fantasy, Marvel comics (not really a fan of DC but if I see some important news I'll probably cover it), the occasional bit of rock music and of course, gaming. Where would I be without covering any games? Nowhere, that's where! Stop talking to yourself Jake, start talking to the readers :P


Also I am extremely sorry, but I am well aware of the ongoing "Star Wars VS Star Trek" hostilities, and as a member of Wookieepedia I'm afraid it's my duty not to cover any Trek on this blog. And that's the end of it, no arguing!!


Aaaaaaand I'm back with you xD Basically, anyone who is anybody knows that San Diego Comic Con (SDCC for short) is coming up this weekend and I am reeeeeeeeally excited!!! Gutted that I can't afford plane tickets and hotel bookings, otherwise I would totally be in San Diego right now! But I will be on the Internet like a hawk keeping my eyes open for any interesting developments, so keep your eyes peeled! Things to look out for in the coming days:

• A handy little post on the Higgs Boson for all you particle physics nerds out there!
• MEGASPOILERS from Comic-Con. Okay, probably not spoilers on that grand of a scale, but still! COMIC CON!
• Mass Effect 3 Multiplayer DLC (Earth Pack)
• My review of Pokemon Black 2 (which I've been playing in Japanese for a while now, and been keeping up on the coverage on www.serebii.net (if you're a PokeFan and haven't checked this site out I highly recommend it!)
